Leading Candidate for Croatian PM Advocates Fresh Border Negotiations
Ljubljana, 19 November - Head of the leading Croatian opposition party and the strongest candidate for Croatia's new prime minister believes that the Croatian government made a rash decision as it determined to start an arbitration procedure on the sea border with Slovenia. According to a report in Wednesday's edition of Delo, the leader of the Croatian Democratic Community (HDZ) Ivo Sander announced that the Croatian government would launch a new round of talks with Slovenia provided his party wins the 23 November elections.
