Child Abuse Given Too Little Attention, Panel Agrees

Ljubljana, 19 November - A panel on child abuse and children's rights was held on Wednesday, organised by the South East European Child Rights Action Network (SEECRAN) in the framework of the UN convention on children's rights. It is urgent to educate staff in governmental and non-governmental organisations in order to prevent child abuse, while more attention should also be paid to child abuse in children's homes, was stressed.
