NGOs Call for More Attention and Respect of Children's Rights

Ljubljana, 20 November - The Day of Children's Rights on Thursday saw several NGOs call for giving more attention to the sensitive issue of children who have come to Slovenia as asylum seekers or illegal migrants unaccompanied by their parents or guardians. The conditions in which these children are accomodated and the way they are treated in Slovenia in many aspects violate the international and domestic law.
