The Economist: "Why Slovenia Is not the Balkans"

London, 22 November - Slovenia had been part of the former Yugoslavia and the Balkans, but it stands separately from the region in more than one regard, according to Saturday's issue of London weekly The Economist. Slovenia is the richest and primmest country in central Europe. It managed to sidestep most of the problems associated with post-communism and the collapse of Yugoslavia, writes the weekly.
