EU Veterinary Inspectors to Check Slovenia's Border Facilities Next Week

Ljubljana, 23 November - An EU veterinary inspection team is to start a three-day visit to Slovenia on Monday to examine the veterinary services at Obrezje, an international border crossing with Croatia. Obrezje will be an entrance point for the transport of animals and food of animal origin on EU's border when Slovenia enters the Union, STA was told by Simona Salamon, the acting director of the National Veterinary Administration.
