President Drnovsek Awarded for Democracy Building

Barcelona, 24 November - President Janez Drnovsek has received an award for his efforts to form a democratic society in Slovenia after the country's independence from the former Yugoslavia. Drnovsek was conferred the Ramon Trias Fargas award in Barcelona on Monday evening. Earlier in the day, he met with the Spanish royal couple in Madrid.
