Top Science Award for Life Work Goes to Metallurgic Expert

Ljubljana, 25 November - The Zois Award for life work in science was conferred on Tuesday to Franc Vodopivec, a retired professor and former director of the Ljubljana institute for metallic materials and technologies. Vodopivec has achieved top results in metallurgy, while his work in the field of solid state chemistry, physical metallurgy, methodics of metalographic research of materials and forensic research has not gone unnoticed either.
