"Stairs 2003" to Raise Awareness on Violence Against Women

Ljubljana, 25 November - Marking the beginning of 16 Days of Activism For No Violence Against Women, Ljubljana Deputy Mayor Stanko Brezovar, Labour Ministry State Secretary Alenka Kovsca, head of Ljubljana Police Branko Slak and chair of Women's Counseling Service Dora Meden held a press conference where they introduced the awareness raising campaign "Stairs 2003", and spoke of some burning issues regarding the problem of violence against women.
