MPs Back Technicalities Bill on Erased Again
Ljubljana, 26 November - Parliament passed the technicalities act on the erased in a revote late on Tuesday after the bill was vetoed by the National Council because of its "unpredictable financial consequences". In line with the ruling of the Constitutional Court, the act provides a legal basis for granting permanent residence status to the nationals of former Yugoslav republics who were erased from Slovenia's population register in 1992.
