Slovenia Suports Mediterranean Protection Measures

Venice, 26 November - Slovenia supports agreements ensuring sustainable development of fisheries in the Mediterranean, as anticipated in a declaration to be adopted at the end of the two-day ministerial conference in Venice, Slovenian Agriculture Minister Franci But said in his Wednesday's address to the conference. But while Slovenia supports the establishment of fishing zones, this should be accompanied by an adequate multilateral approach and consensus, he said.
