Gov't Reviews EU's Progress Report on Slovenia

Ljubljana, 27 November - The government on Thursday examined a detailed analysis of the European Commission's final report on Slovenia's readiness to enter the EU, the Government Office for European Affairs (SVEZ) said. The cabinet established that the report is favourable, since most areas of the Slovenian body of law are in line with the acquis, while shortcomings will be eliminated in time for EU entry on 1 May 2004.
