Over 1,500 Forced Labourers Received Compensation from Austria

Ljubljana, 27 November - The Austrian Fund for Reconciliation, Peace and Cooperation has so far paid compensations to 1,574 Slovenians who worked as forced labourers in Austria between 1941 and 1945, with the total amount of damages paid topping SIT 845m (EUR 3.6m), was revealed on Thursday at the annual congress of the Slovenian Association of the Exiled between 1941 and 1945.
