Gov't Moves to Ratify EU Accession Treaty

Ljubljana, 27 November - The government has passed a ratification bill for the EU Accession Treaty at its session on Thursday and sent it into parliamentary procedure. The document, which was signed on 16 April, needs to be ratified by the current and future members ahead of enlargement which is scheduled for 1 May 2004.
