Law Applies to Everyone, FM Rupel Says about Non-Punishment of France and Germany

Naples, 28 November - "The law should apply to everyone equally," Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel commented on the violation of the Stability and Growth Pact, a basic EU mechanism for ensuring economic stability. "Personally, I am convinced that the violation of financial discipline as afforded by Germany and France is not good," stressed Rupel on the sideline of the Naples ministerial meeting on the future constitution of the EU.
