Stock Market Within Reach of the 4,000-Point Mark

Ljubljana, 29 November - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) boasted a robust turnover of SIT 9.92bn (EUR 42m) this week, exceeding last week's by one-third. Block deals (representing 51 percent of the turnover) and bonds were in the fore, but corporate stock nevertheless managed to post significant gains. Despite a slip on Wednesday, the benchmark SBI 20 added 53.34 points (1.37 percent) and closed at 3,942.75.
