Privatisation of Aluminium Producer Halted

Kidričevo, 1 December - The commission overseeing the privatisation of aluminium producer Talum has decided to suspend indefinitely the privatisation of the company. The decision was taken after two binding offers for a majority stake in Talum expired. The commission had rejected both bids, since their demands for a decade of fixed electricity prices could not be granted.
