"Merry Day of Culture" to Celebrate Poet's Birthday

Ljubljana, 3 December - On Wednesday, Slovenian cultural institutions are to open their doors again for the fourth "Merry Day of Culture", an event initiated by the Ministry of Culture in 2000 in order to celebrate the birth of France Preseren, one of Slovenia's finest poets. This year the day is to offer some 170 cultural events, many of them free of charge.
