NLB Is to Become a Savings Bank, Business Daily Suggests

Ljubljana, 3 December - The Belgian banking group KBC does not plan to change Slovenia's largest bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) into a remote, third-class finance institution. NLB was in fact like that before KBC became the owner of its 34-percent stake, and the Belgians have merely called a spade a spade, writes the Wednesday edition of the business daily Finance.
