Peterle Shares His Award with Victims of Communism

Brussels, 3 December - I wish to share the European Voice Achievement Award 2003 with all who had fought for human dignity and freedom during Communism, all those who had suffered, been tortured, pushed to the side or even killed, those who made the united Europe and its enlargement to the eastern side of the Iron Curtain possible, said Slovenian MP Alojz Peterle in his acceptance speech late on Tuesday night in Brussels.
