Gov't to Respect MPs' Positions on EU Issues, Deputy Groups Agree

Ljubljana, 3 December - The wording of the bill on the cooperation between the government and parliament on EU matters could be signed by the end of the week, Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor said Wednesday after holding a meeting with deputy groups. The bill envisages that positions forwarded by parliamentary bodies will be only politically binding for the government, while those passed by the assembly at a plenary session will have to be respected.
