EES Only Backs General Guidelines of Tax Reform

Ljubljana, 3 December - Social partners united in the economic and social council (ESS) failed to back the income tax bill and the corporate profits tax bill that the government has been drafting as part of a comprehensive tax reform. The move comes as the coalition parties have not yet reached agreement on these two bills. The government is therefore not expected to pass them until next Thursday.
