SKB Bank Chairwoman Welcomes EU Membership

Maribor, 6 December - Slovenia must join Europe, because of its industrial structure and dependence on the European economy. It would be suicide not to join, is the belief of the bank SKB banka chairwoman Cvetka Selsek. She told an interview for Saturday's supplement of Maribor daily Vecer that Slovenia cannot stay on its own, because it has no ally. Selsek is also in favour of quick entry in the ERM II exchange rate mechanism.
