Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 29 November to 5 December

Ljubljana, 6 December - While the prime minister was visiting China, Defence Minister Anton Grizold and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel discussed ways of European and NATO defence in Brussels. In relevance to neighbourly relations with Croatia, which in October declared a fisheries zone in the Adriatic, the Slovenian government amended the maritime code and sent it to parliament for adoption. If passed, it will give the legal basis to set up maritime zones.
