Ljubljana, 9 December - In a decision that could prove crucial for the construction of the first mosque in Slovenia, the Ljubljana City Council confirmed changes to the spatial planning act for the site where the Islamic cultural centre is to stand. The act was changed despite protests by the right-wing parties making up the opposition, which went as far as claiming that the Islamic centre would be a terrorist breeding ground.
