Pension Insurer to Reduce Deficit in Next Two Years

Ljubljana, 9 December - The assembly of the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (ZPIZ) on Tuesday passed the amended financial plans for 2004 and 2005. Both documents anticipate a minor surplus, which would enable ZPIZ to reduce the debt which has amounted to SIT 23.1bn (EUR 98m) over the last years to SIT 14.7m (EUR 62.2m) by the end of 2005.
