Brane Mozetic Wins Jenko Award for Poetry

Ljubljana, 9 December - Poet Brane Mozetic is this year's winner of the prestigious Jenko Award, the Slovenian honour for best poetry collection of the last two years. His collection "Banalije" (Banalities) was found to be extremely personal, painful in the open portrayal of the pain of the author, who speaks about himself as "a human, a gay man, an emotional, sexual, moral and artistic being".
