Berlusconi and Rop on Italian Proposal for Constitutional Treaty

Rome, 9 December - Prime Minister Anton Rop met with his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi in Rome on Tuesday evening, with talks focusing on the negotiations on the EU constitutional treaty and the compromise draft of the treaty that was released today by the Italian EU presidency. As Berlusconi told the press after the talks, Slovenian and Italian governments agree on almost all open questions regarding the treaty.
