Slovenia Among Countries Omitted from Iraq Contracts

Washington, 10 December - Slovenia is among the nations omitted from a Pentagon list of countries eligible to compete for Iraq reconstruction contracts. This is in line with instructions issued by U.S. Deputy Defence Secretary Paul Wolfowitz on Friday, which analysts have assessed as being a direct retaliation to countries that failed to support the U.S.-led war.
