Mobitel to Launch UMTS Friday

Ljubljana, 10 December - Slovenia's largest mobile operator, Mobitel, will launch a pre-commercial trial of its 3G mobile technology network UMTS on Friday, the company told the press Wednesday. Initially, users will have access to UMTS services in Ljubljana and the Ljubljana Airport, while the signal is expected to reach 62 percent of the population next year.
