Rupel Upbeat About Reform Compromise

Brussels, 11 December - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said Thursday that he was convinced the current and future EU members will reach a compromise on the constitutional charter this weekend. "Nobody wants an extension. This would be the worse thing that could happen, which is why we expect that an agreement will be achieved," Rupel said on the sidelines of a meeting of leaders from liberal parties held in Brussels on Thursday.
