Rupel Regrets Pentagon Decision to Limit Bids for Iraq Contracts

Brussels, 11 December - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said he regretted the U.S. decision to bar countries that failed to support the U.S.-led war in Iraq, among them Slovenia, from bidding for Iraq reconstruction contracts issued by the U.S.. However, the minister assessed that the omission of Slovenia from the list presents no barrier to Slovenian companies for now.
