"Neboticnik" Becomes Cultural Monument

Ljubljana, 11 December - The "Neboticnik" (Skyscraper) building in Ljubljana was declared a cultural monument by the government on Thursday. The building was designed by architect Vladimir Subic and built in 1933. At the time, the concrete construction was an outstanding technological achievement and the skyscraper of 70.35m was the tallest residential building in Europe and the highest building in the Balkans.
