Mufti Welcomes Decision to Build a Mosque in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 12 December - A referendum on a mosque in Ljubljana would be unconstitutional, believes the highest Muslim authority in Slovenia. Those parties which are promoting this initiative should reconsider it, said Mufti Osman Djogic. If a referendum however does take place, Djogic has appealed to Slovenia's citizens not to go to the polls.
