Extension of Negotiations Better than Bad Agreement, Rop Says

Brussels, 12 December - Going into what is supposed to be the final round of negotiations on EU reform in Brussels on Friday, Prime Minister Anton Rop said he hoped that leaders of the current and future EU member states would reach an agreement. Nevertheless, an extension of the talks "would not be a tragedy".
