Delo on Saddam's Capture

Ljubljana, 15 December - Saddam Hussein on Sunday turned out to be a bearded and unscrubbed refugee living in a shepherd's shack and hiding in a hand-dug rat's hole. He carried a gun, but did not use it. This is the most pathetic end any dictator of the 20th century had lived to. But this has not been his last moment of fame as he is yet to appear in trial in Baghdad. According to predictions, the trial will be simultaneous to the U.S. election campaign, observes Monday's Delo.
