Russia and Slovenia to Launch Talks on Clearing Debt

Moscow, 17 December - Two-day talks on the payment of the Soviet clearing debt of around 207m clearing dollars to Slovenia are to begin in Moscow on Wednesday. Slovenia and Russia will first try to set the exchange rate of the clearing dollar, whereupon the manner in which Russia is to repay the debt should be negotiated on.
