Gov't Unleashes First Part of Tax Reform

Ljubljana, 16 December - Holding a session dedicated to tax reform on Tuesday, the government adopted new income tax and corporate income tax bills. The documents are part of a series of twelve laws that are to be adopted as part of the tax system overhaul. The goal of the package, says the government, is to raise the competitiveness of the Slovenian economy by lifting the burden of labour and shifting it to capital.
