Limerick Will Welcome Slovenia to EU

Limerick, 17 December - The Irish government has decided that Ireland, as part of its EU presidency in the first half of 2004, would welcome each of ten new EU member states in one of its cities. Slovenia will be welcomed on 1 May 2004 by Ireland's third-largest city Limerick.
