Slovenia in Favour of Capping Members' Contributions to EU Budget

Paris, 17 December - Slovenia is of the opinion that the upper limit for member states' contributions to the EU's budget should remain at 1.24 percent of the GDP and should not be increased, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik told STA on Wednesday, as he wrapped up a two-day visit to France. This is also the position that the Slovenian government took a few months ago, said Potocnik.
