Gross Foreign Debt Exceeds Reserves by EUR 5bn in October

Ljubljana, 18 December - Slovenia's foreign exchange reserves totaled EUR 7.82bn at the end of October, falling EUR 5bn short of the country's gross foreign debt, which stood at EUR 12.82bn. The overall foreign debt increased by EUR 1.34bn, while reserves were down EUR 3.8m in the year to October, according to the latest issue of the Bulletin of the Bank of Slovenia.
