Growth of Administered Prices Limited to 3.4% in 2004

Ljubljana, 18 December - The government has decided that the overall growth of administered prices may not exceed the forecast inflation growth in 2004. Price growth in this diverse group - which contributes about 40 percent to inflation growth - will thus be restricted to 3.4 percent in 2004 and 2.6 percent the following year, head of the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD), Janez Sustersic told the press after Thursday's cabinet session.
