LJUBLJANA - Deputy Minister of the Chinese Development and Reform Commission, Zhu Zhixiang, is to pay an official visit accompanied by a delegation. Reforms, formation and implementation of strategies for macroeconomic development are to top the agenda at talks with Economics Minister Tea Petrin. A joint press statement is scheduled for 11:45 AM. KOPER - Automotive company Cimos is to stage a press conference at 10 AM, to present additional information on a takeover bid announced by a consortium of five companies that already hold ownership stakes in the company. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Chairman of the parliamentary commission on European affairs, MP Alojz Peterle, is to hold a press conference at 10 AM to present the commission's work in 2003.

LJUBLJANA - The centre for Public Opinion and Mass Media research at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences is to present results of the latest Politbarometer survey at 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Europe Affairs Minister Janez Potocnik and EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere are to take part in a presentation of the Slovenian translation of "For Europe", a book written by Robert Schuman, a former French Foreign Minister and one of the founding fathers of the EU. At 11 AM.

PARIS, France - The 10th session of the Slovenian-French committee on science and technology.

PIRAN - Former chairman of food company Droga, Matjaz Cacovic, is to hold a press conference at 2 PM to present his view on his recent dismissal by the company's supervisory board.
