Farmers Enraged by Hunting Bill, National Council Seeks Veto

Ljubljana, 19 December - The trade union of farmers said it was enraged by the bill on hunting and game administration, which the parliament confirmed on Friday, labelling it as harmful for nature, land owners and society. Representatives of farmers at the National Council have also joined the fight against the bill, calling an extraordinary session of the upper chamber of parliament to attempt and veto the bill.
