PM Optimistic about Efforts to Curb Inflation

Ljubljana, 20 December - Prime Minister Anton Rop is optimistic about the feasibility of the government's goal to increase economic growth and curb inflation in 2004. The recently adopted plan for the increase of administered prices in 2004 is a crucial part of the efforts, as well as the agreement on public sector wages, but works still lies ahead in reining in prices of monopolists in the public sector, Rop said in an interview for STA.
