Vjesnik: Slovenia Needs Croatian Consent Before Expanding NEK

Zagreb, 22 December - "We have received no notice from the Slovenian government about their plans for a new nuclear power plan, expansion of the Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK) or a purchase of the Croatian half of NEK," Croatian daily Vjesnik was told by Roman Nota, assistant to Croatian economics minister. According to the paper, the Slovenian government has recently adopted an energy strategy that reconsiders the option of nuclear energy.
