First Memorial Marking Mass Post-WWII Grave Uncovered

Nova Gorica, 22 December - The first memorial that marks a burial ground of mass post-WWII killings was unveiled at Trnovo near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia on Monday. A metal bell bearing the inscription "To the victims of war and post-war killings" was set at an over 150-metre deep pit, in which speleologists found a large number of human skeletons back in 1990.
