PM Rop Stresses Importance of the Independence Day

Ljubljana, 23 December - In Tuesday's main ceremony marking Slovenia's 1990 independence referendum,
Prime Minister Anton Rop said that the Independence Day, celebrated on 26 December, is the country's biggest holiday alongside the National Day, as it marks an occasion when the great majority of people expressed their will for independent Slovenia freely, democratically and maturely.
