Stock Market Sees High Turnover Despite Short Trading Week

Ljubljana, 27 December - The week on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, which saw only three days of trading due to holidays, nevertheless recorded a respectable turnover of SIT 5.6bn (EUR 23.7m), half of that on account of block deals. The benchmark SBI index gained 61.62 points (1.59 percent) to close at 3,930.60 on Wednesday.
