Decree on Erased Referendum to Undergo Constitutional Review

Ljubljana, 31 December - A decree on the 15 February referendum on the technicalities bill on the erased was published in the Official Gazette Wednesday, but it seems like Slovenians might not have to go to polling stations: a group of 33 coalition lawmakers today urged the Constitutional Court to examine whether the decree is in line with articles 90 and 63 of the constitution. The MPs called on the court to issue a temporary injunction on the decree until it reaches a final solution, since "irreparable damage" could otherwise be caused.
