Croatian President Visits Border Crossing in Symbolic Gesture

Brežice, 1 January - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Thursday paid a visit to the Slovenian-Croatian border crossing Slovenska vas to greet customs officials on both sides of the border, in what he labelled a symbolic gesture showing that borders must unite nations, not divide them.
